Over the weekend, I went home to throw my cousin a bridal shower with the rest of the bridesmaids. It was super busy, and I think I've finally fully recovered. Today, I was really in the mood to clean, read, and craft. After a few errands, I let everything else fall to the wayside and crafted all day long. My sister pinned a Harry Potter kindle cover on Pinterest over the weekend, and immediately made me look at it.. I got really excited, because it looked SO easy to make!! I had a ton of black felt stashed away in the closet from when I made some coasters a while back, so I quickly grabbed some ruby, goldenrod, and tan felt from JoAnn Fabrics today and set to work.
For the Harry side, I followed the style of the original cover pretty much exactly. The measurements for the Kindle was 19x14cm and 14x8cm for the iPhone. I just did the shapes freehand, but I did use some measurement for the scarf squares. For the Kindle cover, the rectangles are 2x1cm, with the two yellow end pieces 1x1cm, and for the iPhone cover, the rectangles are 1x0.5cm.
