Back in elementary school and through middle school (I don't recall it ever being in high school, which is sad), I lived for the days they served "oreo fluff" in the cafeteria at lunch. It was essentially crushed oreos in Cool Whip. I also remember looking forward to getting dirt in a plastic baseball cap at the Ground Round (does this restaurant even exist anymore?) on birthdays - the gummy worms were the best part, of course. I picked up some Newman O's for a
steal a few weeks ago - only $1.49 - and I've been really in the mood for some sort of dirt dessert. Instead of using whipped cream with chocolate pudding, though, I decided I'd try it out with some vanilla greek yogurt. I am so glad I did.
After making the
Chocolate Raspberry Pots de Crème earlier in the week, I've just wanted to make more of those, but I figured I should switch it up a bit, so I made some homemade chocolate pudding instead. This of course gave me the perfect reason to make some dirt! Add some vanilla
Chobani and some crushed Newman O's, and we're all set.
